I joined Geekseat in 2019 as a Business Analyst. At first I doubted myself and thought, ‘Can I reach the high standard required of me?’ But once I had started my teammates rallied around as regards how to best support international clients and I very quickly settled into my role.

I also noticed that there isn’t really a separation between seniors and juniors, we all look after each other and contribute equally to the project workloads. I can say I am now very comfortable with my role and love working at Geekseat.

We are very flexible in terms of task allocation, and after a while of working on projects I realised that as a Business Analyst you also do project management tasks. As a result I have learnt more about Scrum methodology, Technology, UI/UX design, and especially about communication between team members and stakeholders. From my experience I have realised that I want to head in the direction of eventually becoming a Project Manager.

In terms of what it’s like being at Geekseat, work-life balance is our standard. And there are fun events and regular sports time provided for all. It’s a nice group of people.

May 2023 is my 4th year at Geekseat. I can say I’m really happy with the work-life balance that Geekseat offers for all employees. I get to collaborate with overseas members, understanding their country, culture, and how they speak, etc. Other pluses include our English classes, monthly happy hour lunchtime sharing sessions, and sharing of knowledge sessions… all of which are a great opportunity to grow. So, there is always a chance to grow and better yourself. That’s partly why I am happy to work at Geekseat. My journey so far has allowed me to strongly develop my skills and, importantly, my English skills have greatly improved. I think I share my enthusiasm with my talented colleagues, and we grow together!

It was a great pleasure when I joined the Geekseat team way back in late 2020, and my experience thus far has been nothing short of exceptional. I began under remote work (WFH), and was initially apprehensive about how to adapt to a new working environment and company culture. However, the warmth and camaraderie of my colleagues immediately put me at ease.

Returning to the office has been a seamless transition, thanks in part largely to the congenial and supportive work environment fostered by Geekseat. One of our core values is knowledge sharing, evident in the collaborative efforts of cross-functional teams comprising members from various countries, including the US, Barbados, Albania, and Singapore.

I am incredibly grateful to be part of such an inclusive and dynamic organization that values both professional development and employee well-being. I’d highly recommend Geekseat to anyone seeking a fulfilling and rewarding career in Tech. The pace is fast, but you feel empowered to use your initiative and fully supported by your team.

I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the Geekseat team. The company’s commitment to fostering a positive work-life balance has allowed me to thrive both personally and professionally.  Working alongside such talented individuals in a collaborative environment is an absolute joy, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have to learn and grow with my colleagues.

Moreover, working at Geekseat challenges me to write more efficient and effective code, while also ensuring that it is well-documented and easy to maintain. Through this approach,  I gain invaluable experience and knowledge that I can apply to my work at Geekseat.

Overall, I cannot overstate how grateful I feel to be working at Geekseat. It is an incredible company with a wonderful culture. I feel it is enriching my life in so many ways.
